ASTM B167 UNS N06600 Inconel 600 Seamless Pipes
According to ASTM B167, Inconel Alloy 600 (UNS N06625) seamless pipes can be supplied in cold-drawn annealed or hot-rolled annealed conditions intended for general corrosion resistant and heat resistant applications. The chemical composition requirements of Alloy 600 seamless pipe are the same as that of other product forms of Inconel 600 including forged flanges, bars, rods and plates, etc.

2. Conditions and surface finishes of UNS N06600 (Inconel 600) Seamless Pipes
HBMetals supplies UNS N06600 (Alloy 600) seamless pipes in both cold-drawn and hot-rolled conditions in accordance with ASTM B167. They can be subsequently categorized as follows:
1) Cold-drawn, annealed, with ground outside diameter - The inside diameter may have a bright finish when material is annealed in a protective atmosphere; otherwise, the inside diameter is supplied descaled as necessary. It is available in sizes(O.D) 12.7mm to 101.6mm of all wall thicknesses.
2) Cold-drawn, annealed, and pickled(not ground) - The outside and inside diameters will have dull, matte(pickled) surfaces. It is available in sizes(O.D) 12.7mm to 168mm of all schedules.
3) Hot-rolled or hot-rolled annealed(not pickled) - The pipe under this condition has the dark oxide surface resulting from the hot rolling process.
4) Hot-rolled or hot-rolled annealed(pickled) - The pipe under this condition has the oxide surface removed on both outside and inside diameters by pickling which is similar to to 2).
5) Hot-rolled or hot-rolled annealed(machined outside and inside diameters) - Both outside and inside diameter surfaces are machined to specified dimensions. A bright finish is achieved.
