    Chemical Composition Requirements for EN10253-2 fittings

    Different from EN10253-1, EN10253-2 pipe fittings can be made from a wide range of carbon steel and alloy steel materials. The starting material shall be rigorously selected to suit for different applications at room temperatures, low temperatures, or elevated temperatures. The steel grades designated by EN10253-2 can be further divided as carbon steel, Cr-Mo alloy steel, nickel alloy steel, and line-pipe level alloy steel. Their chemical-composition requirements are listed as below.
