Forged Steel Gate Valves: SW, Threaded and Flanged Ends
1. Applicable standards of forged steel gate valves
1) Design and manufactured to API 602, BS 5352, ASME B16.34
2) End connections conform to:
(a) ASME B16.11 for socket weld(SW) connections.
(b) ASME B1.20.1 for threaded end(TE) connections.
(c) ASME B16.25 for butt weld ends.
(d) ASME B16.5 for flanged ends(RF, RTJ, FF).
3) Test and inspection according to API 598.
4) Structure features:
(a)Bolted bonnet(BB) + Outside screw & yoke(OS&Y).
(b)Welded bonnet + Outside screw & yoke(OS&Y).
5) NACE MR-0175
6) Small sizes forged steel gate valves.
